Guarantees Increased for World Series of Poker Europe Main Event

King’s Casino recently announced that it is raising the guaranteed prize pool for the €10,350,000 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Main Event that is taking place between Friday, 4th and Thursday, 10th November 2017.  The guarantee has increased from €4,000,000 to €5,000,000, with the eventual winner now taking home a minimum of €1,000,000.

Leon Tsoukernik, the owner of King’s Casino, commented on the event by saying that they are so encouraged by the number of early bookings for the World Series of Poker Europe that they have raised the total guarantee of the Main Event to €5,000,000 and they are now guaranteeing €1,000,000 to the winner.  Tsoukernik went on to say that his advice is to book now to secure their spot.

Commencing on Thursday, 19th October, the 2017 World Series of Poker Europe will feature 11 bracelet events in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.  The first official gold bracelet event will begin on 19th October with a €1,100,000 buy-in Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em event with three starting flights and a prize pool guarantee of €500,000.  A winner will be crowned in the Main Event when the series officially concludes on Friday, 10th November 2017.

According to Tsoukernick, more than 90 players have committed to the World Series of Poker Europe €111,111 High Roller that begins on Friday, 3rd November 2017.  The event is due to be capped at 111 players and will include a number of the biggest names in poker, including Phil Hellmuth, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Tony G, Fedor Holtz, Antonio Esfandiari and Liv Boeree.

Tsoukernik went on to comment about the High Roller event by saying that the demand is strong and he has given up his own seat and intends playing host instead.  He added that his €11,000 deposit will go to One Drop.

King’s Casino recently added 1,800 square meters of Las Vegas-style casino space with 40 more poker tables in order to prepare for a large sequence of poker festivals.  The Casino will also be opening the majority of an awesome new hotel with more than 200 additional rooms on 10th August during the upcoming partypoker German Poker Championships taking place from 3rd to 15th August 2017.
