PokerStars Announces Launch of New World Record Attempt

The poker room intends to hold a guaranteed tournament with a buy-in of only $1.00 on Sunday, December 4th when they will attempt to attract more than 149,106 players to the tournament.
PokerStars have guaranteed that the winner of the tournament will receive a guaranteed $50,000 with an extra amount of $10,000 in bonuses if they knock out any participating Team PokerStars players whether or not they smash their existing world record or not.
